Ummmm.....I'm somewhat speechless. I'm probably about to spoil this post Maisie, please forgive me for my mood but she seems like a snot. The house is nice but she in particular seems so materialistic, man, I didn't enjoy that at all. There also didn't seem to be any connection between the two, they didn't even hold hands! But I guess there must be something there, if they have a house like that together. I was confused at the comment in the video about them not being married with you comment Maisie, but it looks like they aren't married. Call me oldfashioned but this seems like putting the cart before the horse.

Okay, I'm done now. Sorry to be such a grump bucket. Oh, I forgot, I'm not done, for someone who obviously doesn't cook much, despite it being her room, why did she have to get TWO stoves and TWO subzero's? Talk about vanity and overkill.

Well, I think the premise of the show kinda makes anyone seem materialistic Le E. I mean the show's about celebrities showing off all the stuff they can buy and we can't. Obviously, it's overkill, but I guess that's what happens when two people who both have more money than they can ever need get together. (Also, the show def focused more on her, probably since it's MTV and she's the singer). I actually thought it was kind of funny that she's more low maintenance in the beauty dept than Mike is.

They weren't married when this aired, but they definitely are now. Willa's actually been blogging on NHL.com...I read a couple of her entries a week or two ago. She seems pretty knowledgeable about the game in addition to her hubby playing, and I'm all for any celebrity working to bring more publicity to hockey!

Did she ever say one nice thing about him? I didn't catch a single Mike compliment and can't seem to force myself to watch it again. Maybe it's just their relationship dynamic but she seems to always put herself on top.

That's what I sensed too Bizzy, she seemed to enjoy picking away at him, little jabs that didn't sit right with me. Even when she put her hand on his bum as they were going downstairs, it seemed only for the camera. I didn't like it when she put her feet in his face either.

LeE, I don't think you were being such a grump, I think you were being honest about what you thought! Personally, I only posted the piece because I thought it would be fun to see inside their home. But I felt she is pretty vacant and I wonder what the attraction is. He seems like a good guy with a quirky sense of humor, but maybe he doesn't require much in the brainwave department. I loved the fact that he had the elephant in the entryway for good luck, it was revealing in a simple way. And while the house was big and complete with two beautiful dogs, it seems nouveau riche. Mike didn't seem that materialistic except that he was quite proud of the horsepower under his hood, but that's pretty much a guy thing and I loved that he had a sense of his own room, i.e., "Mikey's Room," outside that was equipped with big screen tvs, etc.! He seems too good for her, but the piece really highlighted her self-promotion and braggadocio.

I'm glad you did post it Maisie, it was interesting in it's own way. I liked the elephant in the entryway too but when his wife made light of it, I didn't like her right off the bat!

I'm probably just being a hockey groupie since I practically worship the ground these guys skate on, so I couldn't imagine acting like that with my hockey man

In the next couple of days, I'll dump the photos on memory card onto my computer. I went to the last two games of the miserable Detroit/Colorado series and took some snaps of Joe Sakic for you!!!!! Bizzy and I often refer to him as "SJS", i.e., Sexy Joe Sakic. This makes my brother barf, but we're only telling the truth!!!!! I recently saw a picture of him with his wife and they were both holding two yellow lab puppies, they looked so adorable! It made my heart melt

the only reason this show is entertaining is cause the celebs show off their bling

willa ford is just more of a tv personality i mean all her career is front of the camera
the episode didn't focus on her, she just knows how to entertain the viewers...anyway i was entertained... mike modano seems to be on the quiet side, which isn't a big deal it doesn't mean she's taking over him and everyone trashing on willa ford for making fun of him...chill...i think thats her personality and i think he likes her humor or he wouldn't have married her (which hadn't yet happened when this episode was filmed)
