I recently rediscovered this gem of a hockey song and felt it deserved a post. Originally broadcast when Mario first retired on 102.5 WDVE. With the current preseason/upcoming regular season, I cannot help but think how while the Pens were gone for awhile, now they could not be anymore alive and thriving. I cannot wait to see what comes of the 09-10 season.

Probert in Rehab

I thought it might be of interest to some on this group, that Bob Probert was back in rehab in Brentwood Recovery Home in Windsor, Ontario.
He ordered a personal pizza to his room, something that is against the rules at Brentwood.
The Executive Director delivered the pizza to Probert's room himself.
He also delivered the message for Bob to pack his things and get out!
So much for that stint in rehab.

I'm hoping that the sea of white and the sound of 17+ thousand fans will give the Pens the lift they need to win this game! I have to be honest, if Detroit is going to go for it, I would rather him them win it in game 7 - it's so much more fun to hoist the cup with your hometown crowd in attendance!!!

So tonight what I hope for most, is a great night of hockey with both teams playing their heart out, come what may.

8 minutes before showtime and I already have a tummy full of butterflies!

Tonight it's all about Hockey!

I will be completely glued to the t.v. watching the Pens play Carolina! I had a previous commitment tonight which I promptly canceled when I realized it was at the same time as the game. Nothing is stopping me from being home tonight and watching hockey! All day I've been thinking of the commercial "hockey fans aren't like other fans!"

I know some of us are cheering for different teams - I'm rooting for the Pens but I desperately hope it's a tight game because I would feel bad if Carolina played like they did on Saturday, it's never fun to watch a team unravel. The Penguins seem unstoppable right now - Malkin is on fire and Fleury is amazing! But, you never know what could happen - the Canes could pull it out!

Anyone else plan on being glued to the t.v.?
